MEDIA HOTLINE: 469.698.2326

EMAIL: media@lakepointe.org

Q: What if I need to cancel?

A: Depending on the how close to the weekend it is, there are a couple of ways to cancel:

  1. Call the MEDIA HOTLINE (469.698.2326) and tell us.  Leave a message if no one answers.
  2. Email us. media@lakepointe.org
  3. Call you campus producer.  They should have given you a cell number.

Q: What if I am available to fill in on the crew?

A: Add a comment to the weekend schedule when you would be available.  We check those comments to help fill holes.

Q: What if I want to join the team?

A: Because of the specialized nature of what we do each week, all new team members are required to be trained (regardless of experience). This helps you be successful and enjoy serving even more.

The first thing we suggest is clicking on the “join the team” tab at the top of this page and look at all of the various positions we have available.

Once you have an area of interest identified let us know by calling the MEDIA HOTLINE: 469.698.2326 or by emailing Christina Miller and letting us know you would like to serve.

We will schedule you for a time to observe, so you can see the whole thing in action, and then we will begin the training process and then schedule you solo once you are ready.

Q: What if I have a son or daughter who would like to serve?

A: Have your son or daughter complete the process listed above for joining the team. IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER MAKES DIRECT CONTACT WITH US!!  We do no train or schedule based on contact from the parent.  We have learned that the student must personally be passionate about serving or they will not be reliable.

Q: Are there any age limits for team members?

A: As a general rule, we prefer a minimum age of 12 years old.  We have made exceptions on a case-by-case basis.  There is no maximum age for serving.

Q: Are there behind-the-scenes videos available?

A: Yes. Click on the “Videos” tab at the top of the page to see behind the scenes videos and other lake pointe media production elements.

Q: Who is in charge?

A: A common question….  Wes Hartley is the Media Pastor and is responsible for all of the various media teams who serve on all campuses.
